Pantone Color Trends for Fall 2013

Fabrics shown above from left to right are A6320 Woodland, A6921 Cobalt,
A6113 Capri, A3659 Peridot, A6330 Nautical and 203456S Blush.
The pastel palette of Spring bids us adieu while the rich and sophisticated Fall 2013 palette makes a grand entrance on the fashion color stage.  These unique colors leave no room for the dark and the drab associated with cold weather.  Instead, these colors set the stage expressing every personality from wild to meditative, sensual to elegant.
The color of the year, Emerald Green, continues to epitomize luxury.  Picture this lavish color clothing a Chaise lounge in elegance while a shimmering Acai purple velvet pillow embellishes it completing the fall jewel tone look.  Similarly, colors of Koi, Vivacious, Linden Green, and Mykonos Blue create pops of energetic color livening up various room scenes unique to one’s personality.  Spring’s bright poppy deepens into a spirited Samba red statement pillow prepared to capture the spotlight while against a deep Turbulence grey sofa.  These deep colors of Carafe, Deep Lichen Green, and Turbulence offer sophisticated alternatives to the usual neutral or black used in the fall.

Fabrics shown above from left to right are A4962 Punch, A2834 Tangy,
A6174 Persimmon, A2581 Raspberry, A7159 Charcoal and A3810 Twilight.
“Just as the leaves change in autumn, the consumer will enjoy the ability to change their ‘look’ and try a new approach to their wardrobe for brisk days ahead,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute in Pantone’s Fashion Color Report Fall 2013.
