Bella-Dura comes to Greenhouse Fabrics

Outdoor fabrics have become more and more popular over the past few years. Today, we at Greenhouse are finding many of our customers using these outdoor fabrics on interior projects. The products have a beautiful hand, are easily cleanable, and most exceed 50,000 double rubs to provide years of like new appearance.

Continuing our strategy of offering New Fabrics Every Month, Greenhouse introduced two new outdoor books in January. We have carried outdoor fabrics for years and are particularly excited about the looks these two new collections provide.

This week, we are featuring Bella-Dura, a beautiful new line of indoor/outdoor fabrics that has a wonderful story of comfort, cleanability, durability, and visual appeal. Click the video below to hear and see this exciting story for yourself…………….

"In 2002, culminating from decades of textile industry knowledge, innovation, hardship, perseverance and determination, as well as years of working with technical and design experts, Wearbest, a company founded in 1940 that originally made linings for men's suits, introduced its newest product: Bella-Dura.

"Bella-Dura incorporates more technical attributes than any one textile fabric has previously accomplished. And the company's efforts have been acknowledged with a collection of industry awards and certifications, including the 2008 A.S.I.D. Earth-Minded Award and MBDC Silver certification. In both cases, Bella-Dura was the first and only truly environmentally friendly indoor-outdoor performance fabric to earn these honors.

"A family-owned trade now in its fourth generation, Bella-Dura incorporates seven decades of best practices and advancements in technology in weaving the best performance textile in the industry."

Bella-Dura is the only fiber on the market, synthetic or natural, that begins as a by-product of post-industrial  waste and ends its long and useful life as a 100% recyclable product.  Do you have a large project coming up for a customer looking to get LEED certified for being "Green"?  Using Bella-Dura can help them in the process!
