Greenhouse Fabrics Team Profile: Tiffany

When Tiffany was added to the Out Bound Team here at Greenhouse, she was excited!  Tiffany graduated from High Point University, which is a fantastic school in my biased opinion (: .  However, many of her new accounts do not know a lot about Tiffany, so she took a minute to sit down with me for this Greenhouse Fabrics Team Profile.

Matt-"What is your favorite part about working for Greenhouse?"

Tiffany-"My favorite part about working for Greenhouse is the people I get to work with on a daily basis. We work hard for our customers together and we make it fun! Occasionally we have T-shirt decorating contests, pizza parties, catered lunches, and we even have a gym to work out in! It really is a great work environment and that makes it easier to take care of customers.  I believe my degree has given me the ability to help customers at a deeper level when it comes to finding what they are looking for. I spent many hours in the Interior Design building in the fabric room looking for the right fabric for the project I was working on at the time. Because of this, I began working at Greenhouse with previous knowledge about the uses of different fabrics and what to look for when a fabric is needed for a specific application. I have been part of the research department for a year and a half and when new books come out, I have helped find coordinates for patterns on the website."

Matt-"What is your favorite part about working with customers?"

Tiffany-"My favorite part about working with customers is getting to know people with unique personalities from all over the country. As a new account agent, I get to connect with our customers on a deeper and more personal level. We have customers that call In on a regular basis from small town upholstery shops in the country to large designer studios in big metropolis’; and people that call in all the way from Alaska to Hawaii!"

Matt-"Favorite breakfast food?"

Tiffany-"Blueberry Pancakes yumm…"

Matt-"First pet?"
Tiffany-"My first pet was a hamster named Teddy"


Matt-"Favorite television show?"
Tiffany-"My favorite show hands down is Extreme Makeover Home Edition. I love design. What can I say? It shows in just about every facet of my life. Though the show is slightly unrealistic when it comes to the real world, (most people don’t have their houses built and fully furnished in only 1 week) I find it fascinating what they can accomplish in such a short time. I love seeing the entire process from start to finish and then seeing the beautiful product of all that work at the end."

Matt-"Favorite fabric?"
Tiffany-"My favorite color is purple and I love cherry blossoms, so it just makes sense that this would be my favorite Greenhouse fabric!"

Matt-"What fabric do you have in your house?"
Tiffany-"The main colors in my apartment are olive green, burnt orange, and spa blue. I have some pillows made out of the 10714 mineral. I would say that my apartment is done in a transitional style with dark woods and metal scrolling designs. At Christmas, I add purple for a unique and festive atmosphere!"
