Customer & Fabric Specialist and Customer Spotlight: Sandy

Sandy
 Greenhouse Customer & Fabric Specialist
Most of our customers know this month's Customer & Fabric Specialist from setting up an account, but Sandy does much more than help new customers set up accounts with Greenhouse Fabrics, she is one of the many talented members of our CFS team.

What makes Sandy so valuable to her customers?  Sandy earned a degree in Interior Design and worked in furniture sales for 13 years before joining the Greenhouse team.  With her experience, she is a valuable asset to furniture manufacturers.  "I love fabric and furniture!  I have a real passion for working with our furniture manufacturers, making sure they have the fabrics they need on a day-to-day basis.  Most of the time they have a specific need or are in a tight bind, and I love being able to meet that need with Greenhouse."

"Working at Greenhouse is truly rewarding.  While I spend a lot of my day at work, it makes it easier to come in and hang out with my second family in the office and all of our extended family, our customers!"

One of Sandy's customers, Stacy Williams Upholstery, loves working with Sandy and, likes Greenhouse so much, they used our fabric in their own home!  A family owned business established in 1971, Stacy has been upholstering full time for 52 years now, and still enjoys doing it.  Stacy does the cutting and sewing and  oversees the workroom.  Judy, his wife of 49 years, runs the office.  Their two sons, Andy and Allen, upholster and their grandson , Hunter, helps pickup and deliver with Allen.  Stacy’s cousin, Douglas, also works as an upholsterer, and his wife, Glenda, is the main seamstress.

Greenhouse Fabrics has been their largest supplier over the years, and they are very thankful for that. "The staff at Greenhouse Fabrics makes you feel like they are family and are willing to go the extra mile to help you whenever they can. The company makes sure you have an updated line of fabrics, vinyls and leathers to make your presentations to your clients go so smoothly."

Nearing partial retirement, Stacy and his family have started remodeling a home as a get away for hunting and relaxation. "We are so blessed to have a legacy to pass on to our sons and hope they will carry out the business in a way that will work for their success with the customer base that they will build in the future of this company."
